Francesca Antonini Arte Contemporanea presents Giro di Vento (Turn of Wind), a solo exhibition by Sabrina Casadei, curated by Marina Dacci.
Sabrina Casadei works across painting, drawing, and installation, developing a practice that is intensely physical and grounded in the sensory. Giro di Vento — a turn of wind, a gust that changes direction — takes as its central metaphor the invisible forces that move through space and between bodies: the currents of air, feeling, and time that cannot be grasped but only registered in their effects.
Casadei’s works engage with the landscape not as backdrop but as active force — a place where weather, atmosphere, and light leave their marks on matter and on the observer. The exhibition builds an immersive environment in which the viewer is drawn into a field of sensation and quiet intensity.
Francesca Antonini Arte Contemporanea has since 2014 developed a programme dedicated to emerging artists and experimental languages, building on a legacy that dates back to 1964 when the gallery opened as Il Segno.
